CDN: Access Denied Reference #18.cad1f557.1634833505.1903b12e

Dear Colleagues We have a customer whose IP keep getting blocked by various CDN operators. If we change his IP, this solved the issue for a couple of days, then he is blocked again. Actual IP: 87.102.212.133 At the moment, this IP is being blocked by the CDN used by: klm.com nespresso.com easyjet.com I opened a case with Amazon, as this is the ones that host the easyjet.com CDN but they replied that he is blocked 'upstream' by their customer easyjet. Our customer called the Easyjet Helpdesk, but they have no clue what generates this error and sent him to is ISP :-/ We don't get any kind of complaints regarding the IP of this customer. https://multirbl.valli.org/lookup/87.102.212.133.html Two entries on blacklist I am not familiar with. One of them about an email misconfiguration? All the customer is seing on the webpage is: === snipp === Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.easyjet.com/" on this server. Reference #18.57d61202.1634833697.32bab06 === snapp === Any hints on how to solve or what blocking provider is used (all pages show a very similar message with similar ID) are appreciated. PS: Yes, google is finding reports of this exact issue. None I found provided any useful hint on what causes the issue. New nameserver node for LI/CH at SwissIX

Hello Swinog, The TLD zones .ch/.li make use of the RcodeZero Anycast DNS service of nic.at since a few weeks (The nameserver letters d.nic.ch/d.nic.li to be precise). Nic.at has now added an anycast node at SwissIX. In order to get the best possible RTT and increased resiliency against potential DDOS attacks on the DNS infrastructure we encourage network operators peering at SwissIX without using the route servers to get in contact with nic.at for direct peering: AS1921, Peering @ SwissIX https://peeringdb.com/ix/60 IP addresses: 91.206.52.164, 2001:7f8:24::a4 Contact: ops(a)nic.at The RcodeZero Anycast DNS node at this location provides DNS services for multiple other TLDs. Anyone from UPC/Cablecom ?

Hi, Is anyone from UPC/Cablecom on the list? I’ve had a few complaints from our customers that have sporadic trouble reaching our services. All of them being also UPC/Cablecom customers. Suspecting DNS troubles, I’ve asked one of those customers to switch to Google’s Public DNS and this seems to solve the issue. So the issue is probably between our DNS servers and UPC’s. I’ve tried to reach hostmaster(a)cablecom.net as per the SOA record, but this seems to be an unrouteable address. Thanks and sorry for the noise! Take care, Florian

Hi all, I am starting a small project with a student of the Technical School in Lausanne ETML-ES (for his diplom work), it will end up as a mobile kit for remote staging. I would like to collect some experience from you folks, will be kept 100% anonymous. If you agree, can you drop me an email directly and answer these questions: - do you have Out-of-Band console management for your network equipment ? - if no : how do you manage your network equipment ? - if yes: which product (brand/model) ? - if yes: which interfaces on the equipment side ? SPF/DMARC sunrise issue

Hello, I am only using SPF, DKIM and DMARC information to up points in my spamassassin (there are too many badly configured SPF sites around, and they most of the time are not DNSSEC-secured). In general, SPF/DMARC alone is not enough to mark as spam in my opinion. However, someone reported the following issue with Sunrise: apparently they are lacking at least ONE of their webmail SMTP senders in their SPF records: 195.141.178.228 for example. dplanet.ch descriptive text "v=spf1 mx include:spf.sunrise.ch -all" spf.sunrise.ch descriptive text "v=spf1 ip4:195.141.178.100 ip4:195.141.178.101 ip4:195.141.178.220 ip4:195.141.178.221 ip4:195.141.178.223 ip4:195.141.178.229 ip4:195.141.178.94 ip4:195.141.178.95 ip4:195.141.178.96 ip4:195.141.178.71 ip4:195.141.178.199 ip4:195.141.178.74 195.141.178." It especially may break dplanet.ch senders as their DMARC policy is quarantine (sunrise's is none). Gmail was for example reporting random problems depending on the sunrise sender (webmail) SMTP IP address: ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of innocent-buddy(a)dplanet.ch designates 195.141.178.229 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=innocent-buddy(a)dplanet.ch; dmarc=pass (p=QUARANTINE sp=QUARANTINE dis=NONE) header.from=dplanet.ch ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx.google.com; spf=fail (google.com: domain of innocent-buddy(a)dplanet.ch does not designate 195.141.178.228 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=innocent-buddy(a)dplanet.ch; dmarc=fail (p=QUARANTINE sp=QUARANTINE dis=QUARANTINE) header.from=dplanet.ch Sunrise end-user support did not seem to notice yet, so if someone around here has better / direct contact, it would be handy.
