Don Draper - Mad Men
Hi there
Richard, one of the directors of the Shadowserver Foundation, will be in
CH the end of April. Because of that I am organising another "Beer on
Friday, hellyes (BOFh)". This time probably in Berne as well as in
Zurich. Although probably not both on a Friday. So it's probably more of
a Bh (Beer, hellyes) :)
If you ask nicely I would also be willing to organise something a bit
more west of Berne (Fribourg, Lausanne)?
I have no date set yet. If you are interested in joining the fun, please
drop me a note. I will then try to find a date and a place with enough
space and let you know when and where you can find us.
Looking forward to your feedback and comments.
Cheers,
Adrian

Dear SwiNOG community,
in spite of all your contributions and financial commitments we are unable
to held the SwiNOG #27 next month.
We did not manage to get enough sponsors and without them we're not able to
finance the meeting.
Therefore we've decided to postpone SwiNOG #27 to end of October / beginning
of November.
Exact dates are to be announced.
We're sorry to bring this news at such short notice and are working hard to
find all the needed sponsors.
Thank you for your support and I really hope to be able to welcome all of
you at SwiNOG #27 in the fall of 2014.
Best regards
Simon
SwiNOG
Hi
Did see any information in the mailing list, if SwiNOG #27 is held or not.
Since there isn't any information on the Website either, I assume, it will
not be held. Am I correct?
Kind Regards
Patrick Studer

Dear Group Members,
I am a university researcher who is investigating the development of new, usable tools that will improve the work practices of cyber security professionals. As a first step to achieve this goal, I am undertaking a survey to gain an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day activities of cyber security professionals. The targeted participants for this survey are those who perform security related activities as a part of their job (e.g. security analysts, network administrators, systems administrators, etc.).
I would be very grateful if you could spare some time and complete this short (approx. 10-15 minutes) survey for me. It can be accessed at the following link:
http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/1536165/Work-Practices-of-Cyber-Security-Prof…
If you have questions or concerns about this research, please contact me (Muhammad.Adnan(a)gcu.ac.uk) or my Ph.D. supervisor Dr. Mike Just (Mike.Just(a)gcu.ac.uk), both at the Interactive and Trustworthy Technologies research group (http://www.ittgroup.org/), Glasgow Caledonian University, UK.
Kind regards,
Adnan
