Schneider Electric Containerized Datacenter

Hi SWINOG list, We’re currently evaluating Schneider Electric / APC modular/containerized data centers for a remote deployment and I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has operated one in production. In particular, I am interested in: * Build quality and delivery/commissioning experience * Power + cooling performance under real loads * Remote hands / spares / serviceability in remote locations * Monitoring/integration (BMS/DCIM), alarm quality, and support responsiveness * Anything you’d do differently or specify up front If you use another vendor and they support global delivery, I’d also appreciate alternate recommendations. It seems, that Postfinance sends legit emails with the ENVELOPE-FROM "filedelivery(a)postfinance.ch" from M365 (include:spf.protection.outlook.com), which currently isn't in the SPF record for the domain "postfinance.ch". Dear Swinoggers, we are receiving "Information requests" from a "do not reply" email with a footer containing the following the below attached information. I tried to find out where to login, without success, tried to reach them by email, even tried to call. The result is: - no information on how where any information should be found - no response ever to any email (I tried 4x) - Seems like _ISC-EJPD-UPF-Provid(a)isc-ejpd.admin.ch is a dead dropbox - the phone picks up after 4x ringing with a hissing, no person talking Is this a known scam or is this new scam? Seeking for advice / Sunrise / Yallo Support issue

Hello List, long time lurker seldom poster here :) Sorry for posting here, but I ran out of ideas on how to solve an issue with Sunrise/Yallo. Two weeks ago, Sunrise had to move their connections in Dubendorf from Fibre-Plug 2 to 1. Just after that, I moved the CPE to Plug 1 and contacted the support because the connection was not working. Long story short: After almost two weeks, the connection is still not working. On Plug 2, I get the Fiber- or OTO Activation Screen from Swisscom and on plug 1 I don't even get an optical signal. Support promised me a temporary 5G router, a SIM card, a new Fiber Box, Calls from the technicians and so on... Nothing happened and I'm still offline If there is any Sunrise/Yallo technician out there, could you may have a look at it? If someone has an Idea on how i can escalate this, feel free to contact me Again, sorry for disturbing about a private connection and being off topic here Best regards Philippe

Business Continuity - eine kleine Geschichte...

Hallo allerseits, Ich möchte euch eine kleine Geschichte erzählen. Heute Nacht (vom 2. auf den 3. Oktobber 2025) gab es einen Brandalarm im „Tanklager und Unterflurbetankungsanlage Rümlang“, TAR/UBAG. Die Werksirene war im weiten Umfeld des Flughafens gut zu hören, aber offenbar ist nichts „grosses“ in Flammen aufgegangen (sonst wären die Zeitungen voll davon :) ) Aber: In gut einem Kilometer über freies Feld vom Tanklager entfernt ist das NTT Datacenter (früher eShelter), und etwa 700 Meter entfernt das Digital Realty Datacenter (früher Interxion). Zudem führt eine Gasleitung in der Nähe durch (ich gehe davon aus: mit Datenleitungen), und in der Strasse und dem Bahngleis links und rechts des Tanklagers wohl noch weitere Datenleitungen (zumindest zur Verbindung NTT - Digital Realty). Wenn im Tanklager tatsächlich ein grösserer Brand ausbricht, muss in den DCs wahrscheinlich die Frischluftzufuhr reduziert werden, damit eindringender Rauch keine grösseren Schäden verursacht - mit entsprechenden Auswirkungen auf die Kühlung. Im Worst Case müsste an beiden Standorten wegen der reduzierten Kühlung eine Menge an Infrastruktur heruntergefahren werden - und an beiden Standorten werden bekanntlich viele essenzielle Dienste betrieben. So als Denkaufgabe fürs Wochenende: Wie gut könntet ihr mit dieser Situation umgehen? Welche Zulieferer / Dienstleister sind auf eines oder beide DCs angewiesen? Wo wäre „nur“ die Redundanz gefährdet, und wo der ganze Dienst? Und wie zuverlässig sind Redundanz und Failover getestet? Viele Grüsse, Matthias
