Dear SwiNOG members,
I would like to thank you and especially the Core Team again for giving Agilent the chance to present
our IPTV QoE Test Solutions during the SwiNOG13 Meeting on Nov. 1st in Berne.
You will find our presentation slides at SwiNOG website in coming days.
It's our pleasure to be the sponsor for this event and to meet all of you.
Congratulations also to the lucky prize-drawing winner of an Apple iPOD!
If you have any questions regarding IP tests, please don't hesitate to contact us.
See you next time at SwiNOG meetings!
Thanks!
Have a nice day.

Dear Colleagues,
The RIPE NCC Training Services Department invites you to register for
one of our upcoming courses:
Date: Friday 19 January 2007
Time: 0900 - 1700
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
The LIR Training Course explains the role of a Local Internet Registry
(LIR) in the distribution of IP resources and development of
policies. We also introduce attendees to the newest policies and
procedures, explain terminology, and show how to efficiently
communicate with us.
The course is free of charge. We provide lunch and printed training
materials. We do not cover any of your travel expenses or
accommodation.
We give all of our training courses in English.
You can find more information about the course at:
http://www.ripe.net/training/lir/
How to register:
---------------------
The target audience of the LIR Training Course is employees of new
LIR's, and new staff from established LIR's, who will deal with us as
part of their regular work.
You can register up to two people from your LIR for each course. (If
there are places left nearer the time of the course, you can register
more people).
As we give out confidential information to attendees about their own
LIR, only 'LIR contact persons' can register themselves for a course.
LIR contact persons can also register other colleagues.
To register for this course, you can either use the LIR Portal at:
https://lirportal.ripe.net/lirportal/training/course-list.html
Or the on-line registration form on our website:
http://www.ripe.net/cgi-bin/trainingform.pl.cgi
If you have any questions, send an e-mail to <training(a)ripe.net>.
Kind regards
Rumy Kanis

Hi all
Does somebody have a direct contact to a T-Online mailadmin?
It looks like all 6 months or so, they put static IP-Ranges of our customers
with own mailserver on their internal 'dial-up' blacklist.
Mit freundlichen Grüssen

Hi folks,
We are currently experiencing a heavy load on all our smtp inbound
servers since saturday.
It is due to bounces coming from everywhere. Spamers using fake email
addresses from domains for which we are the MX.
The amount of such emails (which we almost all reject, user unknown,
etc.. because of the fake email addresses) is enormous compared to
normal traffic (like 10 times what we have in general).
Do any of you experience the same problem ?
