Hey all
A friend just told me that Cybernet told him there is a Switzerlandwide Internet Problem.
Does anybody know something?
Cheers
Michele

picking up fast enough:

Hi together,
I like to initiate a small survey regarding the usage and dynamic
distribution of your public IPs to customers.
The survey will be kept confidential and I have no intention to
publicize the results to a broader audience. If there is no abstention I
like to summarize the findings anonymously and post it to the Swinog ML.
Motivation:
At a project meeting the claim came up, that all Swiss ISP disconnect
their customers at the same time. I think that is a rather bold claim
and I would like to disproof or justify the stated claim with a small
survey.
Questions:
- Do all Clients get a public IPv4 Address?
- Do you disconnect your xDSL, Fiber, Docsis client connections?
-- At a certain Time, after a certain interval, or never?
-- How long is your average disconnect?
-- Are business clients disconnected as well?
- During the disconnect. Do you refurbish IPv4 Addresses or does the
client keep his address?
-- Do you use the same procedures with IPv6 Addresses?
Please send your answers off list to my private email address:
nobody_su(a)kabelsalat.ch
I'm looking forward to all your answers and I thank all involved parties.
Regards from Bern

Hallo zusammen,
Schickt mir bitte eure Antworten direkt an meine private Email:
nobody_su(a)kabelsalat.ch
