Hi all.
Tomorrow is the big day, another SwiNOG Meeting takes place.
=:-) I thought, this would be the perfect opportunity for a bit
of GPG keysigning. Anyone interested please bring your
fingerprints and an ID so we can sign the keys during breaks or
the social event. I'll sure have mine with me.

Dear SwiNOGers,
SwiNOG#13 registration has been kind of urgently closed. The current
number of attendees is 112. Unfortunately we do not have enough place
for 112, we're limited to 100.
!!! The 12 last registration have been set to "Pending" !!!
If you are one of those 12, you will have to wait for cancellations of
other attendees.
If you are one of the 100 confirmed and you do not expect to join the
meeting, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP !!!
Check the participants list[1] to verify if your registration is PENDING
or not.

hi all,
does anyone use some good opensource tool for IP allocations management?
I tried these two, neither is good enough:
http://iptrack.sourceforge.net/http://www.phpip.net/
The tool should be helpful in everyday LIR operation:
-- Allocating new prefixes, with customer description
-- Address/mask consistency verification
-- Suggestion of a next free block on request
-- Assignment of host addresses
-- Ideal would be to verify with RIPE database and reverse DNS
-- Great would be security levels, so that various pools
could be administered by different people
thanks,
stan
Maybe we can try the FIFO queue at the door of the meeting room ? :)
Cheers,
Jerome

Line 19 to 64 are identical. How on earth can this be done? Wrong netmask
maybe?
192.94.118.253 is already at Novell - therefore it's probably slightly OT,
in here. But still... maybe somebody from Novell is reading this and is able
to help.

Peter

Hi there!
If anyone out there wants to get rid of some 19" racks, please let me know.
We're looking of full-height racks, but also for some half-height racks (ca.
1.20m - 1.60m) for our lab.
Please contact me off-list if you need some space in your garage ...
They don't have to be free, all kind of compensation between a box of beer
and some real cash is subject of negotiation :-)
Thanks & best wishes,
Matthias
Hi All!
Of course Nico had to cancel his speach due to an
(sport) accident. There's now an open presenation
slot of 30-45min.
Anyone interested?
cheers,
michel
I will be out of the office starting 25.10.2006 and will not return until
27.10.2006.
Your email will not be forwarded. I will respond to your message when I
return.

Guys, is this problem still going on? I still receive complaints from
customer that websites like www.bluewin.ch are not reachable.
Does anyone knows something official?.... or inofficial? I don't care...
cheers

The connection over AS3320 (DTAG) to AS3303 (IP+) had 100% packet-loss,
the re-routing over AS702 (Verizon) worked fine. At any time we had all
AS3303-Routes (IP+) from both Peers, Verizon and DTAG. Looks like a DTAG
/ IP+ issue.

Hello,
Michel, any information (details) about Cablecom problems?
we saw some issues between Sunrise and IP-Plus today at the TIX Traffic
from Bluewin (IP-Plus) went over DE-CIX to Interroute instead of the
direct peering at TIX.
Peering was up again around 17:20
