Grüezi und hoi Wir suchen für unsere Firma eine Lösung für eine SMS-Notfallalarmierung. Leider haben wir für diese Situation kein passendes öffentliches Angebot finden können, darum gelange ich an die Swinog-Mailingliste und hoffe, dass jemand von Ihnen/euch eine annähernd gleiche Lösung für sich selbst oder Kunden im Einsatz hat. Hier also die Anforderungen die wir haben: Anforderungen: Upload von Natelnummern auf ein Portal/Webseite mit Möglichkeit einer Gruppierung der Einträge. Versand von Info-/Status-SMS an die eingetragenen SMS-Gruppen per Webseite (admin) und/oder SMS-Forward. Status-Webseite öffentlich über dasselbe Portal einfach aufruf- und wartbar - ev. Status mit SMS updatebar Beispiel Inhalt Webseite/Statusseite: 14.04.2014 09:54 E-Mail Service läuft wieder 14.04.2014 08:01 E-Mail läuft nicht. Dark fiber Lausanne information request

Hello, My company is currently looking at the possibility of moving our server infrastructure from the in-house server room to a datacenter in the Lausanne/Geneva area. This would require us to be able to obtain a dark fiber or similar low protocol overhead/low latency network link. The link would be between our offices (Malley Lumières) and a datacenter (Brainserv or Infomaniak Satigny). We have started looking around and are having a few difficulties finding information on these matters. Has anybody had experiences with the implementation of such a setup ? We are looking for feedback regarding pricing, complexity of implementation, possible more interesting options and co. Thank you in advance for your help, Antoine

"ISPs will be requested to block content"

Dauert der schwerwiegende Rechtsverstoss an, soll der Provider dem Rechtsinhaber die Identität bekannt geben, damit dieser seine zivilrechtlichen Ansprüche geltend machen kann. ---------------------------------------->8 8<----------------------------------------- Zugang sperren Um illegalen Angeboten einen Riegel zu schieben, schlug die Arbeitsgruppe auch strengere Regeln für Provider vor. Betroffen wären zum einen Hosting Provider, also Anbieter von Inhalten. Auf Anzeige hin sollen sie unerlaubt hochgeladene Inhalte entfernen müssen. Zum anderen wären Access Provider betroffen, also Zugangsanbieter wie die Swisscom. Sie sollen in schwerwiegenden Fällen den Zugang zu Webportalen mit offensichtlich illegalen Quellen sperren. Zu diesem Vorschlag hat sich der Bundesrat am Freitag nicht geäussert. ----------------------------------------->8 So Hosting Providers will be accountable under those regulations, and if it goes as they want, ISPs might have to start force-blocking sites. The first part is okay-ish, even though sometimes a hoster has no control over the subject. The second part though is very worrying. If $some_organisation can order ISPs to block content, the door is opened to block all kinds of random content. And of course there is the question about how that blocking will be taking place, next to the simple fact that blocks at the ISP level will be circumvented by a lot of people who will get some kind of VPN... Hence, what folks here are working on/together-with to get clarity in the government and to sort this out so that they are not going to restrict our intertubes?! Greets, Jeroen
