Hi, I would like to thank the SwiNOG core team and all other people who helped in organization of SwiNOG 12 (the very first one for me :-). Although all presentations were good, thumbs up especially for nfsen/nfdump by Peter Haag from Switch. Altogether, it was nice to be there. EURODOMAINCONTROL

Hello there! If any customer of yours has got a phone call from Mr. Christen from "EURODOMAINCONTROL" concerning domain registrations, please get in touch with me off-list. A very strange sales strategy seems to be implemented there. They tell the customer, that someone else is trying to register a domain that sounds similar than the customer's domains. The act as a "helping hand" and offer the customer to register the domain for them to prevent the other registration. The price for such a registration is about 250 Euros per year, including the .ch domain registration and an URL-forward to the customers website. Unfortunatly, one of our customers got a call from that company. Unfortunatly again, EURODOMAINCONTROL is buying those domains at mhs.ch. Very bad situation for us... Best wishes, Matthias
