Rules for used hardware selling

Dear list. How are the current rules for selling hardware? As far as I remember its ok if I only sell a few used pieces. I dont do this as a business of course. Just found a couple of stuff during my last move ;-) Thanks for any comments. Regards, Marc

According to preliminary reports the following happened. The 400kV line from France to CERN went down. This caused --as it should be-- the switchover to the 130kV Swiss line within 30". But then the Swiss line went down. The critical UPS (220V) stayed up and equipment powered by it was not affected. The cut brought down a unit of a 48V-system which affected some equipment. Just for information, the computer-centre power substation is for 6 MW of power. Two high-voltage lines come directly into CERN (400kV from France and 130kV from Switzerland). If one of them fails switchover to the other occurs within 30". If both fail, diesel generators come up within 10'. EDF supply failed, and when the CERN switched to the Swiss network, SIG didn't handle the load, I've been said there was a power failure consequently in a wider area of Geneva than just the CERN. CERN is on diesel power and does not know how long it will last. That's all that I know (not directly from CERN-mouth). dear swinogers the summer is coming and i hope to have great weather next monday... why? well.. 1st beer event at the lake? isn't that a good reason? i know, i'm a little bit late sending out invitations..but anyway.. ;-) some important words: ====================== since we're reserving at the pumpstation, and officially we're not allowed to reserve any table there, we have to be really on time. i have to give up the remaining space around 18:45/18:50. so, if you're not punctional it might be that your seat is already gone and you'll organize a new seat by yourself... we've had some troubles with the restaurant last year because people came too late, we've had an almost empty table around for about an hour. this is bad for their business and this is bad for us (no reservations anymore...). if you're not sure if you'll be on time just drop a note to the comment field... the facts for the next event: ----------------------------- Date: 15th of May 2006 Time: starting around 18.30 o'clock Location: @lake in restaurant "Pumpstation" (see image; www.pumpstation.ch) On Bad weather (will be communicated the same day around noon) we go to the "Outback" Bahnhof Stadelhofen Registration deadline: 14.05.2006 12:00:00 Registration: ------------- Please register here: http://swinog.mrmouse.ch/ Since we have to make reservations, i need to know who's coming and who not. It seems the PA-Jacket-card support only some PA but not all and not PA-GE :-/ Another funny thing i've read on the Cisco doc ; "NPE-G1 SDRAM memory module is not compatible with the NPE-G2 memory module" On the NPE-G2 there's only one memory slot and it's not the same type of memory.
