windows Ipsec tunnel help needed

hey... is there someone on this list that can help me with a windows server 2003 r2 which needs to be a endpoint of a site-2-host (windows is the host) Tunnel? the gateway on the other end is a monowall, which I was able to couple with pfsense and other routers like netgear, so it's something to fix on the windows ... I have configured some roles after the microsoft tutorial, but I can't get it running... I can't really tell what I did, because I lack of knowledge here if someone has experience here, please contact me... Silvan

Cablecom Winterthur blocking outgoing SMB connections?

Hi all With some friends I use a samba server to easily exchange documents. Especialy the windows offline files funcionality makes it the best tool I could find for my purpose. Now I have two different people reporting they don't manage to connect my samba server. It turned out, both of them live in Winterthur and have Cablecom as ISP. I have tested the connection from a Cablecom Customer in another town and it worked perfectly. I would understand if an ISP blocks incomming SMB connections as probably some customers unawarely share their $disk, but outgoing connections? Germany: using blacklists now illegal?

Salut, In case Az. 7 O 80/07, the District Court of Lüneburg has ruled that the use of blacklists for mail filtering is an illegal process. The court thereby confirmed the view of a known spammer that the fact that mails from his servers were deleted by the SPAM filter was an act of censorship. According to the ruling, the fact that a mail server is used to transmit soleily SPAM is not sufficient to block mails from it entirely. Blocking a single mail address would have been sufficient, according to the court. However, even this step would only have been acceptable in order to prevent an immanent danger of a virus attack. I fully disagree. Making us fear "the next law will be way worse" just doesn't apply. If the Swiss people say "no" to this law, how would they ever say "yes" to a law wich is even worse? No way. About international treaties: Thank god the Swiss people have the last word here, too. The government signs a treaty, and the people vote against it? Cancelled! That's why we got to vote about joining the EEA (EEE/EWR), Schengen, the EU, the UN, etc. That's why we got to vote over treaties like the Bilateral Agreements I and II, donating one billion to Eastern Europe, etc. The government would have liked to sign all these treaties, but the people said "yes" to some and "no" to others. That's why often in these treaties I guess the Swiss government puts a phrase like "it will enter into action except if the Swiss people vote against it". Peter -- Psssst!
