Bonjour,
Since about 36 hours:
omega:~ # ntpq -p time.ethz.ch weasel.ethz.ch: timed out, nothing received ***Request timed out
omega:~ # ntpq -p swisstime.ethz.ch remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter ============================================================================== LOCAL(0) LOCAL(0) 13 l 40 64 377 0.000 0.000 *swisstime2.ee.e .PPS. 1 u 103 256 377 0.463 0.043 +ptbtime1.ptb.de .PTB. 1 u 42 256 377 28.187 -0.059 +metasweb01.admi 162.23.3.171 3 u 43 256 377 5.864 2.335
-> looks fine, but I used to do:
omega:~ # netdate tcp time.ethz.ch Trying 129.132.97.15... Connection with tcp to time.ethz.ch failed.
omega:~ # netdate tcp swisstime.ethz.ch Trying 129.132.2.21... Connection with tcp to swisstime.ethz.ch failed.
and this seems to be broken... Any idea what is happening? It worked fine for at least 4-5 years... :)
regards & TGIF, Olivier
Well this service was not realy reliable in the past as well, if i look thru the logfile, at least 90% off the errors are ethz timeout
Just my oppinion ;-)
this leads me to another question, did somebody recognize a daylight time issue on GSM 3 weeks agow ?
Connection with tcp to swisstime.ethz.ch failed.
