We are looking for a data center engineer with strong UNIX skills. The scope of the position is as follows:

- Monitor and manage customer hosting solutions, as defined by agreed SLAs. - Monitor and manage the Datacenter Network (switch/router) infrastructure - Assist sales team in designing and implementing customer solutions - Perform occasional out of hours maintenance on both customer and datacenter equipment - Produce, manage, and maintain documents and records of all customer elements inside the Datacenter

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

- Strong Solaris and Linux - Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems - Backup software, especially Veritas NetBackup. - Web server software i.e. Apache, IIS - Knowledge of large networks, switches and routers, TCP/IP, OSPF etc. - Cisco Switches, Router configuration and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of Firewalls, Checkpoint and CISCO ASA/PIX - Extreme switching technology experience an advantage - Load balancing, i.e. F5 an advantage. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Fluent English and good French and / or German
