Nothing special happened the last few days, everything worked as usual.
irc.swinog.ch not reachable - you have any traceroute output?
irc.subcult.ch also worked fine - for ident-issue, give identd a chance ;)
For any questions ... /msg me in the ircnet now (you know my nick).

Dear All

As a result of a DDoS against the SwissIX IP-Range the prefix of SwissIX is at the moment only reachable by its peers.
We are working towards bringing the irc-server back online. But in the mean time eiher use another server of the mesh or have a SwissIX-connected ISP ;).
PS: The actual list of all available servers is listed at: http://irc.subcult.ch

since this recent DDoS related change I cannot reach any of the listed IRC servers from hetzner.de space (AS24940, 78.46.0.0/15) anymore.
would be great if somebody could fix this..
cheers, -jr

swissix stopped announcing the prefix because of this. i think you might join via irc.subcult.ch (which might have an interconnection with irc.swissix.ch).

This huge flame war is irritating me. What's up with this DDoS and the shut-down peerings? Please inform about that issue, rather than flaming around on closed or open source practices...
