Uplink provider in InterXion / Glattbrugg

Hi Swinoggers we operate a well known website in Switzerland and considering to upgrade our uplink from 100 to at least 200 Mbit. The offer of our current provider Swisscom is not too attractive and I am looking for a better offer ;) As I normally do not have to deal with uplink providers I would be happy to get some input from you. The basic needs are: - at least 200 Mbit guaranteed bandwidth (symmetric/not burst) - a /28 IPv4 network (a /27 would be better and keeps the status quo) - a good connectivity/latency for swiss audience - decent reaction times in case of problems - available in InterXion/Glattbrugg Do you have a recommendation for me? Hey, So for anybody who wrote me: I got the issue that whenever I did some change on my switch (e.g rebooting a server!) the whole network was getting CC errors http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12-2/50sg/co… I found this in the meantime and I think this multicast flooding sounds like an awful bitch of a functionality Does anybody have experience with this? Does that sound familiar to anyone? I am now investingating further, unfortunately I cannot disable it globally. New FabLab in Winterthur starting in October

For all the techies out there, who are interested in digital production like 3d-printing, laser-cutting, cnc-milling or microcontroller programming (like raspi or arduino), the non-profit association FabLab Winti is building a FabLab in Winterthur. Swiss VoIP providers

Dear colleagues, I have come to ask for your help regarding VoIP providers based in Switzerland. Our telephony is currently managed by our landlord (EPFL) but we are moving offices very soon and will need to switch to a VoIP option. We initiated a few contacts but are not very impressed with what we have been seeing so far… We are just looking for a hosted VoIP infrastructure provider able to cater to small companies in an efficient way. It needs to be configurable by us as much as possible. We also need to be able to obtain a contractual SLA for management reasons as you can expect. Ideally, we would like to have a demo account set up by next week because I'm off on holiday after that and I would like to concerned parties to be testing it during that time. I guess this should not be an issue for an efficient provider ;-) So, do you have any feedback regarding such offers ? Thank you in advance for your help, Antoine
