We saw some strange issues with the reachability of www.microsoft.com. Sometimes the site is reachable sometimes not. Anyone experienced similar issues?

Similar issue here. It seems that there is a trouble inside AS8075.

Ok, good to know, because not only www is not reachable. We get more and more compliants regarding XBox's not able to play online.

I would say it is broken!!!!!
More seriously: It would be useful if you could at least try a traceroute and include your source & destination IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.
Especially as:

Not sure whether it's the same thing but we couldn't reach support.microsoft.com due to a problem within Global Crossing. We've opened a ticket this morning and they fixed it about 20 minutes ago (a broken LSP between Seattle and Geneva).
