Hi Swinogger's
Does the Cisco 2960 series support inter-vlan routing? I somewhere read that all cisco devices with ios higher than version 12 (or something near that ;-)) support that. But I couldn't confirm that statement with informations from the cisco website.
Can please someone of you cisco wizards light me up?
Regards André
Hy,
cisco 29xx switches are just pure Layer2 Switches with Layer2 Services. Inter vlan routing or IP Routing is a Layer3 Service it works on Layer3 Switches like the cisco 3750. Of course you need the right IOS or CatOS.
best regards
Mike

First, sorry for my late reaction on the list.
Thanks to Michael and Marco.
We will use the router-on-a-stick method explained by Marco. It serves all the needs we have atm.
