Switzerlandwide Internet problem

Hey all A friend just told me that Cybernet told him there is a Switzerlandwide Internet Problem. Does anybody know something? Springcleaning, Equipment to give away

emergency connection with a Huawei GSM modem ?

A customer with a flooded telephone cable is trying to re-establish the internet connection over a GSM modem - the mobile operator is Swisscom. He is not getting any inbound traffic, e.g. SMTP on port 25. PTR records with CNAME ?

According to RFC1034 and 2181, a PTR record using a CNAME is not permitted. I believe this to still be correct, postfix certainly doesn't work with a CNAME when it does a reverse lookup.
