Hello List
This may be offtopic. I tried my luck with different electronic stores but they all send back their NT-BAs to Swisscom. Maybe you know where I can get an old NT. I'm using it to connect an ISDN phone to an asterisk Server (Diva Server 4BRI). I need to feed the fone with power because the ISDN card can't do so.
I heard that many Telcos and ISPs sit on their old NTs or throwing them away. So maybe one on this list could sell me one.
Thanks for your help.

HOW old exactly? There's one here....
Hm. Doesn't really matter how old. I just need it to feed the fone with power as the ISDN card doesnt. Just as shown on http://de.bach-online.de/blog/?p=18. I don't think that the age really matters.
What would I have to pay for it?

I have one `old NT' (about from 1995, the A4 grey box model which worked quite well, where the `new' yellow square are really a mess), and I use it in NT mode with an HFC card to power the ISDN phones. The only issue I have to report after running about 3 months with it is that it will only power the bus if it is quickly connected to a real ISDN U bus for some seconds each time it is power-cycle.
As it is on an UPS, this was only an issue when we had a 1h30 power failure in Neuchâtel about 3 weeks ago.
I intend to buy 3 new NTs (not NT2abs) in the future, for use as real U bus NTs, and I think Elektro-Material AG has them. Probably those have the power feature too.
You can also buy ISDN power supplies from Beronet AG (http://shop.beronet.com).

Happy to hear that out there this is working.

Thank you for the links. Soon I will call 4free to swiss landlines. I had the idea after I surfed to voip busters webpage. I'm just wondering how they do that.

I don't think that would work. The NT can't just provide the power feed, it wants to be the boss of the S-Bus too. You'll get a turf war between the NT and the asterisk server.
