It's common practice that the IP range of internet exchanges are not routed globally. Recently some IP of this range suffered a DDOS attack, therefore SwissIX decided not to announce this /24 any longer. Don't expect it to come back anytime soon.
$ host swissix.ch swissix.ch has address 194.242.34.126
$ host www.swissix.ch www.swissix.ch has address 212.25.27.132
so all lazy surfer (does who do not type www.... ) won't reach the swissix website anumore
