Maintenance Explanation:

IXEurope is upgrading the Zurich 1 TIX platform to the new Foundry RX8 to enable access with 10Gb ports.

The existing Foundry will be shut down and customers will patched across to the new system one-by-one; customers will experience loss of all peers and route server access whilst the cables are patched across. Maximum downtime will be 1 hour. Port security will be removed during the upgrade but will be reinstated once all customers are migrated across.

TIX 2 customers will also lose there TIX 1 peers whilst the upgrade is in progress.

IXEurope have a requirement to perform maintenance on the systems/services described. To this end we hereby serve notice of the schedule as mentioned above.
