well, my command line whois client is enough for me ,-) i'm a shell user ;-)
what's the advantage of a jabber client? does he support the ripe flags? (-r, -M, -l, -i origin, etc?)

Hello @ all
not xml, but you may use the ripe database (whois). http://www.ripe.net/db/index.html
This is the bot jid: whois.ripe.net@swissjabber.ch
Test it and let me know.

Steven,
;)
what's the advantage of a jabber client?
I think it is only usful for users which use a jabber client. It is also possible to make it availalbe on msn, icq, yahoo and other network trough the jabber-transport gateways.

I didn't test. But it should work with the flags of ripe.
