hi all
i'm just wondering what is the community using to document patchings within their datacenter? sure, there will be a lot of people telling me: excel - please no such answers ,-)
i'm looking for a kind of "intelligent" application (or at least based on a database). anything around? maybe opensource based?

Hi Steven
If it hasn't really to be freeware/GPL then have a look into this tool: http://www.genesiscom.ch/de/2/products/nms/netViz_1457.asp
I've seen a demonstration. It's powerfull, but not for free.
Cheers, Günti
