The students can execute their assessments in this environment. For a network course we have developed eight virtual pods. The participants can deploy the labs with a web deployment tool. In the presentation I will explain how this infrastructure works and what the challenges are. NETCONF/YANG: the orchestration revolution | Roque Gagliano (Cisco) Additionally, I do have a short demo that I can also do during my slot using a Cisco product that implements NETCONF/YANG. The idea is to show how to use YANG to model a simple L2VPN multi-vendor network. Let me know if a demo could be part of the presentation. While those attacks are the easiest to realise, as Authoritative DNS servers are public, it is important not to lose track of Cache/Recursive servers (As few PCs or laptops within the LAN can take it down very easily if they are infested by botnets). This presentation will focus on the Recursive/Cache part of DNS Security, and will take as example a specific attack that EfficientIP has named "Sloth Domain Attack", to illustrate how vulnerable a Recursive/Cache server is, and how easy it is to bring it down. We will also discuss some ideas and the necessity to take a new approach when dealing with DNS attacks on Cache/Recursive servers. DevOps | André Keller (VSHN AG) Many SP's have Servers around running Tools and Services such as Rancid, Icinga, Cati, LibreNMS, DHCP, DNS, etc... Usually setup at some time and never patched. IPv6 Transition - Deep Dive into Map - IPv6 Council event on October 26

Dear Swinog Members The trend in the IPv6 market is to plan for an IPv6-centric migration to IPv6, meaning to reduce operational complexity by supporting IPv6-only as soon as possible. New transition mechanisms such as MAP-T and MAP-E support such scenarios. Martin Gysi from Swisscom is evaluating these. Today Swisscom successfully uses 6rd to tunnel IPv6 over their IPv4 backbone. With MAP they will tunnel IPv4 over an IPv6 backbone. Telco contacts in Germany

Hello, I know this is Swinog but we’ve recently encountered a case that we are having issues solving. We’re a Swiss company in the process of opening new offices in Frankfurt but are having a lot of problems trying to reach the local telcos in order to get quotes regarding the connectivity we can obtain at proposed locations. This is due to contact numbers not working from abroad and german-only speaking help desks. Yes, unfortunately I don’t speak german so that makes that much more complicated :-) So my question is, would someone here happen to have a contact for German providers such as Deutsche Telekom that I can contact from Switzerland ? If you can provide us this connectivity, we could be interested as well. We’re looking to get set up basic business-grade internet, preferably not a dedicated line, over fiber. Hallo zussammen, Ich habe eine Frage hat jemand hier ein gutes Beispiel eines PI vertrages zu Zügeln des PI Adressbereichs zu einem anderen Provider. Ich wäre froh wenn mir jemand ein Beispiel das auch von der RIPE akzeptiert wird zusenden kann. Mein LIR und ich habe da zu wenig Erfahrung. Gruss Xaver
