For a customer I'm looking for a hardware-based load balancer, or an ISP owning and renting this kind of HW.

There would be about N webservers (N=2 at the moment, but should grow to 4-5) running a php application, and the http (and https) requests from a single client should always be redirected to the same webserver (for some session management reasons etc.), unless the webserver is down for maintenance of course.

I already suggested to do that with a software-based LB (with pound for example), but the customer would still like to have some offers from HW-based solutions, so that's why I'm asking here.

You're welcome to forward this request to your own company commercials, if you have some :) The whole needs a 1/3 rack, if possible in Zürich, and bandwith is currently of 3Mbit, with peaks during November/December (10-15Mbit then).
