if I remember it right, Solaris 8 was never available for free download, and was available only on CD media. So, you might violate Sun licensing by doing so ;-))

Hi Venty

I'd suggest to use Solaris Zones. You can there create a Solaris 8 container. (http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/containers/index.jsp) Maybe that fits your needs ;) Unfortunately you'll then have to create a flar from an existing Solaris 8 System. But maybe you have access to one ;)
