Dear SWINOG list readers,
SWITCH believes that DNSSEC will play an important role in the global DNS and thus is planning to officially introduce DNSSEC for the .ch zone in February 2010.
To make sure DNSSEC will be ready for everyday use we would like to invite interested parties to participate in an extensive trial. The trial is supposed to start around August/September 2009 and we are looking for participants from the following groups:
- operators of sensitive web sites (banks, administration, media) - hosting providers that sell DNS services to their customers - ISPs hosting recursive DNS resolvers - partners of SWITCH that will offer DNSSEC as registrars
The goal of this trial is to be able to perform live tests on the signed .ch zone, exchange experiences and provide help for using DNSSEC.
If you are interested in participating or you would like to get more information about DNSSEC in general please write an e-mail to dnssec@switch.ch
A first meeting for the trial participants is planned by the end of May.
Cheers, Chris
