nope, see registration terms. if you reserve a hotel room / buy flight tickets there's also a non-refund policy. i think we've clearly enough stated for the policies in our mails / registration.
I'm sorry but that really would be the fair way to handle this situation. Fair to me and fair to the list. Your delete button could also send an email to the list to inform everyone that a registration slot is open.
there's alway space for improvement. but we're performing a cleanup and when there's space we will inform via list. we've having a waiting list, in case you really want to sign up, you can drop an email to swinog-core [at] swinog[dot]ch and we're putting you on the list. as I said: there's always space for improvement...
