Just a quick info: Init7 had to migrate the ML server.
Some stuff is not yet really working, but they are working hard on it.
So, if your mail is not going thru, please be patient ,-)
(and yes: this is also a test-mail)
Greetings

Dear swinoggers
Does anybody of you know if it is possible to setup a static route on a
THOMSON TG787v (VTX)? (And if I would of course appreciate to know how...)
I just got of the phone with vtx customer support, and after trying to
explain what a static route is for the last 15 minutes I gave up...

Has anyone received the latest letter from the Juge d'instruction
du canton de Vaud?
I'm quite astonished how this judge is trying to break about any law of Switzerland and goes beyond all the rules of our legal system.
Does anyone have an idea where to complain against a judge which does very obviously break many laws in a row...

I suppose most of you are aware of the plans for signing the root zone
by ICANN/VeriSign presented at the last RIPE meeting
<http://www.ripe.net/ripe/meetings/ripe-59/presentations/uploads//presentati…>
According to the draft timeline (slide 25), the first signed zone
should appear on one of the root name servers in January. Now would
be a good time to check whether your network is transparent for DNS
packets that use the ENDS0 extension for large segments, see for
example
<http://labs.ripe.net/content/preparing-k-root-signed-root-zone> and
<https://www.dns-oarc.net/oarc/services/replysizetest>.
Note that all current BIND 9 releases set the EDNS0 "DO" flag (request
for DNSSEC records) and use a default segment size of 4096 bytes by
default in iterative queries even if DNSSEC is disabled in the
configuration.
