Since this is a smartass list in general, I'll retort:

A "100 km circle area" is wrong in general, because areas are described in square meters or square kilometers. Your description contains a distance unit, and it's very logical to assume the distance from the center of the area, also called the "arc radius". Your followup description of the diameter is the less logical assumption.

Travelling 50 km in 30 minutes would require 100 km/h as the median speed. Let's assume, that the trip starts in the city of Berne and getting to the highway takes 5-10 minutes depending where you start. Also, the speed limit on the highways around Berne is 80 to 100 km/h for several kilometers in each direction. So getting to a median speed of 100 km/h for 50 km will be quite impossible.

So in my not-so-humble opinion, Andreas' joke is valid and funny.

Kind regards,
Viktor

Hi Andreas,

I can't resist answering this one, although it is a lot of noise.

Let's assume Bern is at the center of the circle and you are within 100 km distance from each ends, that's maximum 50 km away.
If you can't make 50 km in 30 minutes, then you've got a serious mobility issue.

As for serious replies, I'll look all of them one by one when I get a few of them.

Bests
Alex
